| Weyrbowl
Used for training Weyrlings, currently for cooking, oiling dragons, the hatching sands, the lake, the barracks, and a stadium can be found here. Dragons can perch at the top of the 'bowl or take flight from here, and the humans rest within. This place is always buzzing with activity.

| Hatching Sands
Heated sands, the Hatching Sands are for just that. There are stands for humans to sit on to watch young dragons coming to into the world, and shelves of rock where dragons may watch and hum as well. The sands here burn the feet, unfortunate for candidates who are forced to not wear shoes on hatching day. Currently this area is covered in a thick ash.

| Neziacath's Lake
A rather large lake located within the Weyrbowl, just off of the hatching sands, is a large lake named after the queen who died in the explosion. Neziacath's Lake is currently contaminated and can cause burns due to acid levels in the waters. Dragonriders are encouraged at this time to simply oil their dragons, no matter how much longer it takes.

| Herdbeast Stalls
One of few areas of the Weyr that went without an immense amout of damage, many of the herdbeasts were poisoned to death under the clouds. Due to the shortened supply of dragons, however, there is currently enough alive to keep the Weyr content, though dragons now must share their hunting grounds with the humans who cannot leave the confines of the Weyrhold.

| Watch Quarters
With the whers having fled, a dragonrider keeps sentry at all times of day in this area, located on a plateau inside of the Weyrbowl.

| Candidate Barracks
Being near the Weyrbowl, this area is surprisingly still intact. All residents of the Weyr are encouraged to sleep in this area at this time, however, to stay close to the eggs. Rooms are set up to fit three people room by hammock, with boys in the left wing and girls on the right.

Chambers that lead into all sections of the inner Weyr. Currently, heading downstairs is dangerous though a necessity at times.

| Rider's weyrs
Weyrfolk and riders are sharing quarters, so that at least two non-dragonriders share quarters with a rider. All are currently forced into hammocks alongside the dragons, and clothes are to be kept in bags under the hammocks.

| Temporary Kitchens
With the lower caverns destroyed, the kitchen staff have been relocated to cooking over fires in a different emptied rider's weyr. They lack the usual joyous scents, as most of the food supply has been ruined. Staff are always looking for people to go catch them something to cook, however, and the current food lacks any seasoning.

| Hypocaust Bathing
The public bathhouse is the only way to get clean anymore, and only one wasn't destroyed. Times have been set that men may bathe in the afternoon and women in the mornings only until the second bathing area can be fixed. Private baths are not available. However, one may wish to forgo bathing altogether as the water often smells of rotten eggs, and it isn't safe to drink.

| Healer's Creche
The first creche has collapsed in on itself, taking many people's children. This new area is a higher up crevasse with an entrance to the Weyrbowl. Originally this area was a rider's weyr. It's small and cramped, but wall-to-wall with hammocks for the wounded children who survived. Healers are almost always in here, as it's become replacement quarters for them as well. The stone couch of the former rider is used for only severely wounded dragons.

| Lower Caverns
This was used for storage before the eruption, the tunnels leading here are full of bubbling lava that's hardening around what once was boxes of supplies. Currently access here is not permitted by orders. A new one is in the process of being built. Want the job? RP reconstruction here.

| Port and Harbour
Off of the lower caverns is a large opening in a cliff face just over the ocean which housed supply boats. Some have collapsed, while others are barely still intact. There is a constant flow of riders bringing back goods from the remains of the ships before they sink. This cave entrance is at the base of the volcano and is unable to be reached from within the Weyr currently due to the Lower Caverns being flooded.

| Outer Weyr |
| The Sky
Where Thread will fall, currently looms thick black clouds that block out the sky. The initial burst was poisonous, and sadly dragons are discouraged from taking flight at this time into the fog, but someone must search for Thread, and so a few brave souls may be found here.

| Charred Forest
Many of the trees have been turned over from the power of the volcanic eruption, some are seared and others choked from the thick smoke that still hangs over the land, many small animals have met their end, but there is a river in this area which is not containmenated. To reach it, however, requires flying as there is no tunnel access to the outer isle by foot.

| Canaulia Hold |
| Office
This is a small room that has been temporarily made into an office. The section of the hold that held all of the offices and a few of the residential rooms was destroyed in eruption.

| Living Quarters
Tight cramped rooms where most are made to sleep on the floor. There is one wing of the hold that is relatively in tact, but the people there are forced to share quarters as well.

| Dining Area
The kitchen made it through the eruption okay. The huge dining room however completely collapsed. Most of the holders eat outside on the tables set up for dining or in their quarters if the weather is bad.

| Courtyard
The courtyard at the hold is not anything huge or impressive. Most of it now is covered by rubble. There is room for three dragons to land at once. A small infirmary area has been set up on the side since the infirmary inside was destroyed.
